Shreveport detectives are investigating an overnight shooting that left a local man wounded. Just after 9:30 last night, patrol officers arrived to a reported shooting in the 2200 block of Queens Highway, and found 32-year-old Bruce Goss suffering from a single gunshot wound to his right shoulder. He was taken to LSU Hospital with what's described as a non-life-threatening wound. Detectives interviewed Goss, who initially told them he was walking on Queens Highway, when he was accosted by another man. He says the man demanded $10 from him, and at some point, pulled a gun out and shot him. But that version of the story was different from the one he told responding patrolmen. He then gave detectives another rendition of the events. Investigators are working to find out how goss was shot...and who was responsible. Call them or Crime Stoppers if you can help.
