Man Wanted for Kidnapping and Assaulting Woman in Shreveport

Shreveport police detectives are investigating the alleged kidnapping and assault of a woman after a party at a west Shreveport home.
Just after 3:30 a.m. Sunday, August 10, 2014, police were called to a local hospital, where they talked with an adult female. She told them she was walking home from a social gathering in the 1700 block of Looney Street, when a former boyfriend -- who was also at the party -- got upset with her for unknown reasons.

The man allegedly followed her down the street, forced her into his car and drove her to a home, where he physically assaulted her.

Authorities are looking for 45-year-old Timothy Christian of the 1700 block of Logan Street. They have an arrest warrant charging him with 2nd degree kidnapping and 2nd degree battery. Bond is set at $200,000.
