SPD-police_car

An early morning stabbing outside a mid-city night club leaves one man seriously wounded and another behind bars.  Shreveport police say 37-year-old Adron Matlock and another man got into a dispute inside Fat Cats in the 3400 block of Youree Drive shortly after 1:00am.  That dispute made its way outside to the parking lot where Matlock and several others started trading blows.  At some point during that altercation, Matlock was stabbed in the neck.  He was rushed to LSU Hospital in serious condition.  The suspect in the stabbing fled afterwards but was captured a short time later by a K-9 officer.  21-year-old Gentry Prohaska was arrested and charged with one count of aggravated second-degree battery.
