A man is recovering from a gunshot wound and police are looking for the man who shot him.  A man was walking southbound on Hearne Avenue near Hardy, when he was approached by another man walking in the opposite direction.  The other man reportedly pulled a gun and demanded money.

During a struggle over the weapon, the first man was shot in the hand.  The suspect took off and the victim was taken to the hospital with a non-life-threatening wound.

If you have any information that can help identify and locate the suspect, call Shreveport detectives or Crime Stoppers.
