Man Found Shot to Death on Centenary Boulevard in Shreveport

[UPDATE] The man found shot to death on Centenary Boulevard is identified as 27-year-old Christopher Jamison Williams. Detectives continue to investigate exactly what happened and who might be responsible.

[ORIGINAL STORY] A man has been shot and killed on Centenary Boulevard.

Shreveport police say they were called to the Oak Meadows Apartments to reports of a man lying on the ground. He was found to have suffered a single gunshot wound to the head, and was pronounced dead at the scene. His name hasn't been released.

Nearby residents report hearing a gunshot late last night. Crime Scene Investigators are working to gather information that will lead to the identity and capture of the shooter.
