Man Found Dead of Gunshot Wound in Cedar Grove Neighborhood in Shreveport

Shreveport police are investigating the city's 35th murder of the year. Detectives are searching for clues in connection with a shooting that left a man dead Monday morning.

Our News Partner KMSS Fox 33 reports the victim was found in a field near the 300 block of West 77th Street in the Cedar Grove neighborhood at about 11am Monday morning. The victim, believed to be a man in his 20's had been shot several at least once. No other details have been released about the crime. The victim has been identified as 22-year-old Hayden Craig of Shreveport. He suffered multiple gunshot wounds to the midsection and was found deceased in a field by a passerby.
