A young man who posted his confession in an online video was recently sentenced for his role in a DUI accident where the driver of the other vehicle was killed.

The video was recorded and released last month. Seven days after the release of this video, Matthew Cordle, 22, was charged with aggravated vehicular homicide. The mandatory prison sentence for this crime in Ohio is between two and eight years. On October 23, Matthew was sentenced to six-and-a-half years in prison with no chance of early release. His license has also been revoked for the rest of his life.

Despite what the video says, it was actually recorded on August 27 and released on September 3 because Cordle wanted to wait to notify the victim's family.

Here is his video confession:

Please make a promise to your friends, family and loved ones to -- never drink and drive.
