Bossier City spokesman Mark Natale tells KEEL News at around 7:30 a.m., a Chrysler 200 was coming off of Shady Grove toward Arthur Ray Teague Parkway, when it drove into the path of a Toyota 4-Runner.

A man and two children were inside the Chrysler at the time. The man and one of the children were taken to University Health. The man is believed to have suffered life-threatening injuries, but the child was responsive upon arrival at the hospital. The second child and the 4-Runner's driver were both uninjured.

Northbound lanes of Shady Grove had to be shut down for a little while as the accident was being investigated, but those have since reopened.

Natale says there's no word on whether charges will be filed in the accident, which remains under investigation. No names have been released yet.
