Man Charged with Aggravated Incest

Shreveport police detectives have charged a local man with aggravated incest in connection with the alleged rape of a teenager. In June of last year, investigators were told that a 15-year-old female had reported to another juvenile that she'd been sexually assaulted by an adult male family member. During their investigation, detectives identified 43-year-old Maxie Robinson as a suspect -- and earlier this month, obtained a warrant for his arrest, charging him with one count of aggravated incest. This week, a police K-9 unit located Robinson at his home in the 400 block of West 77th Street and took him into custody without incident. He's been booked into the Shreveport City Jail with bond set at $85,000.
