Man Arrested For Firing Gun at Bossier Apartment Complex

Vernell Demming of Shreveport has been arrested after he allegedly fired a gun at 3 people at the Riverwood apartments in Bossier. Police say no one was injured during the incident, however, a vehicle was shot and another round went through the window of an occupied apartment.

Demming was able to escape from the scene, but Police took him into custody Thursday afternoon at this job. Demming was book on a litany of charges including aggravated assault, assault on a peace officer, felon in possession of a firearm and stalking.
