A tip has led to the arrest of a Shreveport man wanted for a series of vehicle burglaries in Bossier City.

That tip came after Bossier City police released surveillance photos showing the suspect using a stolen credit card at a local retail store and the blue SUV he was driving.  The tipster identified the suspect as 35-year-old Glenn Curtis Young.  Bossier City and Shreveport police descended on his home in the 2700 block of Fairfield Avenue tonight and took him into custody.  After questioning by Bossier City detectives, he was booked into the Bossier City Jail on multiple counts of simple burglary.

Detectives say they recovered a number of suspected stolen items from Young's home. Those include electronics, GPS navigation devices, firearms, tools, credit cards, and laptop computers.  Detectives also seized Young's blue GMC Envoy which also contained suspected stolen property.

Detectives believe that Young's arrest may clear dozens of other vehicle burglaries that have occurred since the first of the year.
