A Bossier City man is in jail after allegedly making threats to kill his girlfriend and himself, then refusing to surrender to officers.

Police were called to a reported domestic disturbance at 43-year-old Michael Dale's home in the 2400 block of Brookside Drive just after midnight. Dale's girlfriend has already gotten out of the house, but Dale refused to come out. Officers saw through a window that Dale was carrying two firearms.

The SWAT Team was called out and negotiators convinced Dale to surrender. He turned himself in just after 4 a.m. Nobody was hurt.

Dale was taken to University Health for an evaluation and released. He was booked into the Bossier City Jail for aggravated assault, then transferred to the Bossier Parish Maximum Security Facility.
