[UPDATE]  The female found shot to death inside an Allendale home is identified as Rajean George.  The 16-year-old was reported as a runaway earlier this year.

Bossier City spokesman Mark Natale says George was reported missing in January, and the info was resent February 27th due to lack of information about her whereabouts. There was no evidence at the time that foul play was involved in her disappearance.

He tells KEEL News Bossier City police are not involved directly with the investigation into the homicides, but detectives with the Juvenile Unit are providing SPD with reports from previous incidents involving Miss George.

Taylor's vehicle was located at the intersection of Merwin and Hassett.  It's being processed for evidence.  Police haven't identified any suspects yet.  Shreveport Police Sgt. Bill Goodin asks that anyone with information that may help, no matter how insignificant they think it might be, to call Shreveport-Caddo Crime Stoppers.

[ORIGINAL STORY]  A man and woman are dead following a shooting at a central Shreveport home. Police found 22-year-old Nikko Taylor dead inside the house in the 1800 block of Weinstock Street.

He was discovered by a family member who went to the home after not being able to reach Taylor on the phone. Taylor died of a gunshot wound to the upper body.

Crime Scene Investigators arrived and searched the residence, and located the body of an adult female, also suffering what appeared to be a gunshot wound to the upper body. Authorities haven't identified her yet or determined her relationship to Taylor.

Police have learned that Taylor's vehicle, a green 1997 Pontiac Sunfire sedan with Louisiana plate number POP018, is missing from the home. Detectives are searching for that vehicle and working to locate whoever is responsible for the crime. If you have any information that can help, call Shreveport-Caddo Crime Stoppers at 673-7373 or SUBMIT A TIP ONLINE. A reward is being offered if an arrest is made.
