Man and Woman Arrested in Bossier for Meth Lab Production
Two people have been arrested for producing three active meth labs.
Bossier Sheriff Julian Whittington says agents with the Bossier Combined Narcotics Task Force nabbed 39-year-old Brenda Brown and 26-year-old Matthew West at the Parkland Villa Apartments in Bossier City.
They're each charged with one count of marijuana possession and one of manufacturing with intent to distribute methamphetamines.
The pair have been booked into the Bossier Maximum Security Facility, where they're awaiting bond.
The task force is made up of agents with the Bossier Sheriff's Office and Bossier City Police Department. The team was established in October 2012 by Sheriff Whittington and Police Chief Shane McWilliams in an effort to combat illegal drug activity throughout the parish.
