Mall St. Vincent will once again host the South Highland Summer Market every Friday evening throughout the summer.

Things get started May 15 and continue until July 24, from 5-9PM, under a large tent outside the mall in the parking lot adjacent to the historic St. Vincent Academy. It'll feature over 20 of the area's most-talented chefs, gardeners, artists and handcrafters.

The specialty Open Air Market gives residents a chance to mingle with neighbors, enjoy great food and live music, and shop for locally-grown produce and craft items. It's kid- and pet-friendly and there's no admission cost.

"Giving back to and being a part of the community is something Mall St. Vincent takes great pride in and we are thrilled to once again host this family-friendly and community-oriented event that was very well received last year," said Mall St. Vincent General Manager Steven Niles in a news release. "We have worked hard to transform the mall into Northwest Louisiana's premier retail and social destination, and the Summer Market is another avenue that further enhances the unique customer experience offered at Mall St. Vincent."
