An 8-month long investigation by the Bossier City Police Department’s Division of Special Investigations, the FBI Violent Crime Task Force and the Louisiana State Police into the illegal sales of cocaine and marijuana in the Barksdale Annex neighborhood has resulted in the arrest of four people.

BCPD Narcotics Agents along with members of the BCPD SWAT team executed two search warrants at two houses, Thursday, one in the 1400 block of Gibson Drive and the other in the 1200 block of Gibson Circle.  As a result officers arrested four people and seized two pounds of cocaine, one pound of high grade marijuana, approximately $24,000 in cash, four firearms, two vehicles and a variety of paraphernalia used in the distribution of illegal narcotics.  The seized cocaine and marijuana carry a combined street value of $39,000.  Agents arrested the following persons:

50-year old James “Pete” Holloway for distribution of cocaine, possession of cocaine with the intent to distribute, possession of marijuana with the intent to distribute, possession of drug paraphernalia,  possession of a firearm in the presence of a controlled dangerous substance and possession of a controlled dangerous substance in the presence of a minor.  Holloway was on probation stemming from a previous conviction on federal drug charges in which he served time in prison. 

31-year old Catresha Washington for possession of cocaine with the intent to distribute, possession of marijuana with the intent to distribute,  possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of a firearm in the presence of a controlled dangerous substance and possession of a controlled dangerous substance in the presence of a minor.

17- year old Kaliesha Smith for possession of cocaine, and possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. 

22-year old Gregory Kimble for possession of cocaine, and possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.  

All four suspects were subsequently transferred to the Bossier Parish Maximum Security Facility. Bond on Holloway’s distribution of cocaine and possession of cocaine charges is set at a total of $400,000.  Bond on the other charges against him and those on the other suspects has not yet been set.
