Louisiana Lt. Governor Billy Nungesser talks to 101.7 / 710 KEEL's Robert J Wright and Erin McCarty about his decision to personally boycott the New Orleans Saints and the national Football League because of players' protesting during the National Anthem.

Nungesser tells KEEL listeners that, after standing with families who lost loved ones defending America, that he is "sick to my stomach" seeing NFL players "taking a knee during the National Anthem." Nungesser says that he "cannot support football or any event where they do not honor this great country." The Lt. Governor also has a message for high school teams or athletes considering their own protests in the wake of the actions of the pros.
