LSUS Debate Team Does it Again

The LSU-Shreveport Debate Team has clenched its fourth straight International Public Debate Association Season Ranking National Championship. The team set a new season record of 561 points -- beating Union University of Tennessee by just one point. In addition, Junior education major Caleb Brown placed first for the season in the Novice Division out of more than 350 competitors. But wait -- there's more -- the Louisiana delegation of the Southern Forensic Championships has named LSU-Shreveport Debate Coach Trey Gibson the Louisiana Coach of the Year for 2011-2012.
