LSUH-S Chancellor Reacts to Health Care Ruling

The chancellor of LSU Health-Shreveport says full implementation of the health care reform law will certainly have an impact here. Dr. Robert Barish says it's the age-old issue of supply and demand -- there will be a demand for more health care services and a need for more health care professionals. And that, he says, will mean challenges for the huge medical complex. On the other hand, Dr. Barish says LSU Health-Shreveport is already well-poised to meet many of the requirements of the health care reform law.
