LSU Football Assistants Salaries Top $5 Million A Year Mark

The job of head football coach at Louisiana State University is a high profile, pressure filled position. But boss Les Miles is quite adequately rewarded for his efforts at hefty $4.3 million a year. Well, did you know Miles' assistants rake in another $5 million a year more?

According to lsu.247sports, not including bonuses, LSU’s assistants will make $5,067,500 in 2015, which should keep it as one of, if not, the highest paid staff in all of college football.

Here are a few Tigers assistants and their salaries:

Offensive coordinator Cam Cameron, $1.3 million.

Defensive coordinator Kevin Steele, $1 million.

Recruiting coordinator / running backs coach Frank Wilson, $660,000.

New defensive line coach Ed Orgeron, $450,000

Offensive line coach Jeff Grimes, $377,500.
