Tuesday evening was the first time an SEC team has played at U.C. Irvine's Bren Events Center. And for the Anteaters of U.C. Irvine, it was a rude greeting. The Tigers bounced back from their first loss of the season with a 66-60 victory in Irvine, California.

Andre Stringer led the Bayou Bengals with 11 points in the second half en route to 19 total in the game.

Shavon Coleman and Johnny O'Bryant III combined for 24 rebounds. Coleman had 13 points and 11 boards for his third double-double of the season. He also had a career high four steals. O'Bryant's 13 rebounds were a career high.

Once suspended point guard Anthony Hickey returned to the floor playing 21 minutes and turning in 10 points, 3 boards, two assists, and two steals.

LSU concludes its three-game road trip Saturday at Marquette, who is receiving votes in the latest edition of the AP Top 25.

Tip-off is on-tap for 1 p.m. from the Bradley Center, and the game will be broadcasted on 1130 the Tiger.
