According to a new report produced by Kiplinger.com, Louisiana is the third-most tax-friendly state in the nation. Kiplinger ranked the top 5 as Delaware. Wyoming, Louisiana, Mississippi, and Alabama.
Conversely, the worst states in terms of taxes were listed by Kiplinger as California, Connecticut, New Jersey, New York, and Hawaii.Kiplinger states that their rankings were based on comparisons of rates for income, sales and gas taxes. Other factors considered were so called "sin tax" on products such as alcohol and tobacco. .
