Mother's Day is coming up Sunday, and according to a new study by personal finance website WalletHub, Louisiana isn't a great state for working moms.

As a working mom myself, I'm disturbed to learn Louisiana ranked 4th-worst on WalletHub's in-depth analysis of 2016's Best & Worst States for Working Moms.

The website ranked each of the 50 states and the District of Columbia based on attractiveness to a working mother, using 13 key metrics like median women's salary, female unemployment rate and day-care quality.

Here's a list of some of Louisiana's rankings, with 1 being best and 25 being average:

48th - Day-Care Quality
36th - Access to Pediatric Services
43rd - Gender Pay Gap (Women’s Earnings as % of Men’s)
37th - Ratio of Female Executives to Male Executives
33rd - Median Women’s Salary (Adjusted for Cost of Living)
33rd - Female Unemployment Rate
41st - Length of Average Woman’s Workday
47th - % of Single-Mom Families in Poverty

So which state is the best for working mothers? That would be Vermont, followed by Minnesota, Connecticut, North Dakota and Massachusetts. Ranking below us were South Carolina, Alabama and Nevada. Just above Louisiana is Alaska.
