Louisiana Lottery Results: Winning Powerball Ticket Drops Jackpot

NEW ORLEANS (AP) — The Louisiana Lottery Corp. says a ticket bought in Missouri won the $96 million Powerball jackpot, dropping Wednesday's jackpot to an estimated $40 million.

Nobody took the top Lotto and Easy 5 prizes in Saturday's drawings. Estimated jackpots for Wednesday's drawings rise to $1.6 million for Lotto and $60,000 for Easy 5.

The top prize for any ticket sold in Louisiana for Saturday's drawing was $2,408. The lottery corporation says 17 tickets matched five of six Lotto numbers to win that amount.
