If there's one thing we know how to do here in the Ark-La-Tex, and in our state, it's helping others when they need it.

Of course, we all know too well the feeling of needing help after a natural disaster in Louisiana. Thankfully, when we need a helping hand, agencies from around the globe come down to the bayou to help where they can. To return the favor, we are always willing to do the same.

Hurricane Florence is set to crash into the Carolinas Thursday evening. The hurricane is projected to hit as a category 4 hurricane, which is very, very serious. Ahead of it's impending arrival, Louisiana is set to send around 90 first responders to the area.

Of course, our thoughts are prayers are going to those first responders making the trip from our great state, as well as everyone in the Carolinas as they brace for Hurricane Florence.
