Louisiana’s Film & TV Show Production Schedule Is Sizzling This Summer

The Louisiana Film Commission has a lot cooking this summer including productions of  "Jurassic Park 4," "NCIS New Orleans," Don't Mess With Texas" (co-starring New Orleans native Reese Witherspoon) and Nicolas Cage's latest project "The Runner."

According to Louisiana Entertainment.gov, here are all the films and television shows in pre-production and in production as of today (June 4):

Jurassic Park 4 - Universal feature film Jurassic Park 4 starring Bryce Dallas Howard, Chris Pratt, and Jake Johnson will shoot June 2nd for 11 weeks in New Orleans.

"NCIS New Orleans" - CBS Studios television series "NCIS: New Orleans" starring Lucas Black, Scott Bakula, and Paige Turco will shoot July 21 in New Orleans.

Paper Street Films feature film "The Runner," starring Nicolas Cage will shoot June 23 for 5 weeks in New Orleans.

"American Ultra" - The independent feature film "American Ultra," starring Jesse Eisenberg and Kristen Stewart, is filming through June 10 in New Orleans.

"Don't Mess With Texas" - MGM feature film "Don’t Mess with Texas," starring Sofia Vergara and Reese Witherspoon, began filming May 14 in New Orleans.

"Fantastic Four" - Fox feature film "Fantastic Four" starring Michael B. Jordan is filming through August 6 in Baton Rouge.

Taca Films feature film "Mind Puppets" is shooting through May 31 in New Orleans.

Gold Circle Productions feature film "Pitch Perfect 2," starring Elizabeth Banks, Anna Kendrick and Brittany Snow, is filming from May 22 for 40 days in Baton Rouge.

Paramount feature film "Terminator 5" starring Arnold Schwarzenegger and Emilia Clarke is shooting through August 1 in New Orleans.
