Louisiana Egg Farmers Donating Eggs to Local Food Bank

The Food Bank of Northwest Louisiana gets a nice gift tomorrow...Jordan Egg Farm is donating more than 5,400 eggs. This is the fifth consecutive year United Egg Producers and Feeding America's network of food banks are teaming up in the fight against hunger. To put things in perspective, one in eight people will receive help this year from Feeding America and its member food banks. Egg farmers nationwide will donate nearly 10-million eggs to help make sure America's food banks are well-stocked. Pallets of fresh eggs will be unloaded into the local food bank warehouse at 10 tomorrow morning.
