According to US News and World Report, U.S. Rep. Clay Higgins, R-Port Barre, posted a video on Saturday that has tons of people up in arms.  He was visiting the Polish WWII Memorials and Museums at Auschwitz and Birkenau.  These sights saw the subjugation of thousands and thousands of the Nazi's perceived enemies.  There are signs all around the area asking visitors to maintain a revered silence to respect the lives lost during that dark time.

Representative Higgins felt the time was right to record this message:

Many documentaries have been shot on sight, but those kinds of video projects have official clearance and schedules.  The impromptu walk through and guided (and opinionated) is drawing criticism from those who claim (including Officials at the Auschwitz-Birkenau Memorial and Museum itself) Mr. Higgins' Youtube video is self serving, insensitive, and that Clay used a place of revered silence and used it as a stage.
