Beginning Oct. 1 at 9 a.m., outdoor burning will again be allowed in certain Louisiana parishes, including Caddo and Bossier.

According to State Fire Marshal H. “Butch” Browning and Agriculture and Forestry Commissioner Mike Strain, the burn ban issued on Sept. 17 will be lifted for the following 32 Louisiana parishes:

Acadia, Allen, Avoyelles, Beauregard, Bienville, Bossier, Caddo, Calcasieu, Caldwell, Catahoula, Claiborne, DeSoto, Evangeline, Franklin, Grant, Jackson, Jefferson Davis, Lafayette, LaSalle, Lincoln, Morehouse, Natchitoches, Ouachita, Rapides, Red River, Richland, Sabine, Union, Vernon, Webster, West Carroll and Winn.

The burning will be subject to any and all state, local government or fire department regulations or laws. The public is being urged to use caution in any involving activities outdoor burning.
