Feed the Children Helps Local Schoolkids

Feed the Children, in partnership with the National Association for the Education of Homeless Children and Youth, will deliver a shipment of backpacks and supplies for Caddo Parish public schools this Friday. More than 19-hundred backpacks will be filled with school supplies, non-perishable food, essentials and children's books. The delivery will be made at Lake Bethlehem Baptist Church on MLK Drive at 9 that morning, and be distributed to students in need at a later date. Through a partnership with SchoolKidz, Feed the Children plans to distribute 150,000 of the backpacks across the nation for this school year.
