Big congratulations go out to my friend and trainer, Julie Norman. Not only is she one of the hardest working women in the equestrian world today, she has now qualified for the Rolex Three Day Event in Lexington, KY taking place in April after competing in the Red Hills Event in Tallahassee, FL this weekend . The event plays hosts to the best riders in the WORLD and Julie is definitely one of them!

I can't put into words what a prestigious event this is to be a part of. Rolex is the only four star event in the Americas. To put that in perspective, the Olympics are a four star event, so riders at Rolex are truly competing on a world stage.

The winner of Rolex takes home $250,000 in prize money, and, of course, a Rolex watch! I hope you cheer Julie on along with me as she represents our area. Equestrian sports have long been considered as a sport for the wealthy... Julie has worked hard to get to this point every single step of the way. Nothing has been handed to her. This is the same woman that meets me at 6am at my farm to give little ole me lessons before heading to Holly Hill in Benton, teaching and riding upwards of ten horses/riders a day.

It'll be country come to town the week of April 21st when a large group of Julie's faithful friends, family and students make their way to the Blue Grass State. Only people from Louisiana arrange to have a tail gating tent on the cross country course:)

Can you tell I'm excited for Julie?!?! I hope you'll consider supporting her on the road to Rolex by making a donation or purchasing Julie Norman Eventing merchandise. Chasing her dream, literally, from coast to coast is expensive! I know she'd be grateful for any help you could lend!
