Local Man Shot. Get Details On 710 KEEL

Police are investigating the shooting of a local man in South Highlands.

The shooting happened just before 7 in the 3700 block of Fairfield Avenue.

Officers did not find a victim or a suspect at the scene, but just a few minutes later, 33 year old Jamison Hammett showed up at LSUHSC in a private auto suffering from a gunshot wound to the lower right leg.
