Police detectives have arrested a local man following a fight that left him nursing several wounds.At approximately 2:20 p.m. on July 25, 2012, Shreveport Police patrol officers were dispatched to a home in the 3900 block of Lakeshore Drive relative to a fight.  Upon arrival, patrolmen found 29-year-old Coby Bell suffering from multiple stab wounds to the back.  Bell was transported to LSUHSC by the Shreveport Fire Department with what were initially thought to be potentially life-threatening injuries.  He was later treated and released from the hospital.  

Detectives immediately responded and discovered Bell, who apparently has been staying at the home there on Lakeshore Drive with his girlfriend, apparently got into a physical confrontation with one of her sisters, identified as 31 year old Erica Tate.  According to witness accounts, Bell allegedly got on top of Tate and began beating her about the head and face when another relative in the home, identified as 21 year old Raven Tate, intervened.  After trying unsuccessfully to stop Bell form striking Erica, Raven armed herself with a knife and stabbed him.  Erica Tate suffered injuries to her upper body as a result of the attack.
