Local Man Arrested for Robbing Bossier Couple

A Shreveport man has been charged with robbing a man and woman at gunpoint earlier this week at a local motel.

Bossier City Police Department Violent Crimes Unit detectives arrested 28-year-old Jonathan Pierre Hart for armed robbery in connection with a hold-up late Monday night at the Bossier Inn & Suites in the 700 block of DiamondJacks Boulevard.

The couple was washing clothes in the hotel's laundry room, when Hart allegedly kicked the woman in the head and made off with a cell phone, which has been recovered.

Hart was booked into the Bossier City Jail, then transferred to the Bossier Parish Maximum Security Facility in Plain Dealing.
