Local High School To Offer French Lessons For Children
This summer, the C. E. Byrd High School’s French Club will be hosting a series of Beginning French classes for children 10 years of age and under. The classes will be held at the Cedar Grove branch of the Shreveport Library from 10am – 11am on the first four Saturdays of June (June 2, 9, 16, and 23). The Library is located at 8303 Line Avenue, Shreveport, LA, 71106. The program is being sponsored by ALCFES (Louisiana Association of Secondary Education French Clubs) and CODOFIL (Council for the Development of French in Louisiana).
You may register your child at the Atkins branch. Space is limited and the deadline is May 31st. The French Club at Byrd is looking forward to giving back to its local community and interacting with the future of our school and city.
