A local filmmaker is getting ready to take the wraps off a new film competition.

“Haynesville” Director Gregory Kallenberg is calling his competition the Louisiana Film Prize Contest and Film Festival and he’s inviting filmmakers from all over the world to create and present a short film to enter.  But, there is one stipulation — the film must be shot in Shreveport-Bossier between February 1 and July 9 of this year.  The Film Festival is planned for mid-October and the grand prize winner will collect a cool $50,000.  You can get more information at http://www.lafilmprize.com/
