Local Program Manager, Bobby Cox will be taking his passion to the next level with a new position.

For the last two years, Bobby Cox has served as the Program Manager of our local Children's Miracle Network Hospital, CHRISTUS Health Shreveport- Bossier. He's fulfilled his passion of helping our local kids by fundraising across our area. He's helped foster partnerships with local businesses and media, like us, to further the fundraising goals for our kids.

But what is more evident is Bobby's heart.

Bobby has always said that he didn't choose Children's Miracle Network Hospitals (CMN), it was the kids at our CMN hospital that chose him. Originally he set out to be a television broadcaster, but worked with various charities in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Upon arriving in Shreveport-Bossier in 2012, he served as the executive producer for the CMN Hospitals Telethon. He began meeting the kids at CHRISTUS Health Shreveport-Bossier who take advantage of the 17 programs funded by CMN, and specifically Joshua Black, who is diagnosed with Sickle Cell. The bond Bobby formed with Joshua ignited a passion to help our 60,000 local children and their families.

Since 2012, Bobby has worked tirelessly to tell the stories of these children.

His dedication, perseverance, and love for these kids has certainly been seen throughout Shreveport-Bossier, but it has also been noticed on a greater level. Bobby has been selected to serve as the CMN Southeast Area Director. In this position, Bobby will develop strategies to engage, support and grow fundraising for local CMN hospitals across the southeastern region. He will work with local Program Directors across the region, as well as select national partners.

All for the kids.

Although he is stepping into this major role with Children's Miracle Network Hospitals, Bobby will continue living in Shreveport-Bossier. Of course, he will be traveling more, but he will still be in the same city with the kids whom he holds so near and dear to his heart.
