A local business has teamed up with the Caddo-Shreveort Narcotics Task force to help fight drug crimes. Caddo Sheriff Steve Prator says SPF Depot of Bossier City recently donated safety gear for agents to wear when they're investigating methamphetamine labs. The donation included two full face masks, filter cartridges, shield protectors and disposable overalls with hoods and boots. Retail value of all the items is $700. The company's president says he hopes the gear will keep those entering hazardous areas safe from harmful fumes.
