I just witnessed a performance by some of the finest musicians I have ever seen in concert. I've been to a lot of concerts in my life, but this one ranks right up there with the best.  The Little River Band!

The audience was filled with fans who knew the words, knew the songs, knew The Little River Band.   They recognized the song by just the first few notes of each song and started wildly applauding their pleasure.

Sure, the Little River Band played all their big hits -- of which there are plenty, but hearing the incredible harmony live was something else. They belted out "Lonesome Loser," "Reminiscing,"

"Lady," "Help is on the Way," "Cool Change" and many more.

It wasn't a big light-and-sound spectacular; the band just stood on stage and blew our minds with their unique sound. Just five men, the bassist/lead singer, two lead guitarists, drummer and a keyboard man, but they impressed from the getgo.

Think I liked the Little River Band? There's no like about it.  I loved them. It reminded me that they were one of the great vocal bands of the 70s and 80s. Back when there was little other than Disco and Punk music, they were like an oasis in a desert.

If you get a chance, don't miss them.
