LifeShare Encouraging Blood Donations

LifeShare Blood Centers encourages blood donations ahead of the winter weather. Officials say blood donations will likely be disrupted tomorrow and Thursday because of the expected weather event. So they’re asking folks in our four-state region to visit a Blood Center location or mobile blood drive to ensure an adequate community blood supply. LifeShare has facilities in Shreveport, Monroe, Ruston, Texarkana, and El Dorado. Donors need to be at least 16 years old, weigh at least 110 pounds and be healthy at the time of donation.
