Lifeguards Needed

Bossier City's Parks and Recreation Department is accepting applications for lifeguards to staff the city's three public swimming pools this summer. Applications are available at the BPAR office, located in the Public Service Complex on Old Shed Road. Applicants must take and pass a lifeguard certification course through the American Red Cross at their own expense. Those folks can submit their applications before getting their Red Cross certification, but they'll need to apply within the next few weeks to be prepared in time for the pools' scheduled June 1st opening.
