A new leader takes over at the Louisiana High School Athletic Association.

The LHSAA Executive Committee names Jimmy Anderson as interim Executive Director effective immediately. He takes over after the committee terminated Kenny Henderson earlier this month. The news release states:

Mr. Anderson is a gentleman of integrity, very professional, and loves the LHSAA.  He has been a past president and is presently a compliance officer, thus he is aware of the LHSAA's activities and rules.  I know everyone will give Mr. Jimmy Anderson their support until an Executive Director is name.

Anderson was LHSAA President while he was principal of LaGrange High in Lake Charles from 1998-2000, serving three one-year terms. He was inducted into the LHSAA\Louisiana High School Coaches Association Hall of Fame in 2009 and received the LHSCA’s Distinguished Service award in 2007.
