Latest Shreveport Road Closures for Movie Filming

Don't be alarmed when it sounds like Armageddon. You will wake up on Thursday. But there are some road closures that may mess up your commute Wednesday. Milam Street will be shut down between Marshall and McNeil Streets all day beginning at lunch time - from 1 pm-10 pm.
In Bossier, Arthur Ray Teague Parkway near the CenturyLink Center will be closed near the White House movie set. In fact, portions of the filming of “Olympus Has Fallen” in and around the “White House” movie set on Walker Place will involve special effects Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.
Bossier City Police spokesman Mark Natalee says starting Wednesday morning Walker Place from Barksdale Boulevard to the Arthur Ray Teague Parkway will be closed through August 3rd due to the productions.
