An overnight shooting leaves police searching for a suspect. The victim says he and his friend were walking on Tecumseh Trail late last night, when they were confronted by a young man holding a gun. There was a scuffle, during which the young man fired two shots and the victims ran off. They went to a family member's house, and one man realized he'd been shot twice -- once in the wrist and a graze to the knee. He was taken to LSU Health for treatment. The suspect is described as a medium-skinned black male, about 19 or 20 years old, six feet tall and 150 pounds. He was wearing eyeglasses. The victim only knows him by his street name, but that name hasn't been released.
