Lady Tigers Assistant Coach Arrested

An assistant coach for the LSU Women’s basketball team has been arrested. Baton Rouge police arrested assistant coach Tony Perotti last weekend after an incident at a downtown bar.
Police booked Perotti into parish prison on January 12th on one charge of disturbing the peace by intoxication and two charges of remaining after being forbidden. Perotti was bonded out of prison that Saturday, a day before the Lady Tigers defeated Mississippi State.
According to reports, the incident happened at City Bar in downtown Baton Rouge.
The 36-year-old coach is in his second season as an assistant at LSU. He followed head coach Nikki Caldwell to LSU after assisting her for three years at UCLA.
