Stephen Waguespack, President and CEO of the Louisiana Association of Business and Industry, talks with 101.7 710 KEEL's Robert J Wright and Erin McCarty about this year's LABI "Legislative Scorecard," which ranks state law makers on their "dedication to the spirit of free enterprise."

LABI's metrics for scoring include legislative votes on jobs, civil justice reform, education and workforce development, energy and environmental quality, taxation and finance, technology and others.

According to the LABI's website, "(honoring) the twenty four representatives whose voting record shows a dedication to the principles of free enterprise." Area legislators receiving a 100% LABI score include Shreveport's Senator Barrow Peacock and Representatives Thomas Carmody from Shreveport and Haughton's Dodie Horton.

Local lawmakers not faring so well in the report are Representatives Cedric Glover (36%), Sam Jenkins (36%) and Barbara Norton (26%). On the Senate side, Shreveporters John Milkovich scored 42% and Greg Tarver had 24%.
