District Court Judge Mike Pitman will host the sentencing hearing for one of three young men charged with killing a teenager more than two years ago.  20-year-old Jeremy Jermaine Brooks will officially be sentenced for second degree murder for the April, 2009 shooting death of Terrell Savore.  Brooks was found guilty by a Caddo Parish jury last month.  Two co-defendants in the case have trial dates scheduled.  18-year-old Paul Anthony Jones is scheduled for trial for second degree murder on October 10th; 18-year-old Joshua D. Brooks has a second degree murder trial date of November 28th.
