Juvenile Court Readies For Big Changes

Ted Cox, Juvenile Court Administrator for Caddo Parish, talks with 101.7 / 710 KEEL's Robert J Wright and Erin McCarty about upcoming changes in the juvenile justice system, including the transfer of 17-year-olds from adult court to to juvy.

Cox also tells KEEL listeners that the changes may cause overcrowding at Caddo Juvenile Justice Center and that, in many cases, sending youthful offenders to jail "makes them better criminals."
