Jury Selected for Former Caddo Parish Commissioner

A panel of 7 men and 7 women have been selected to be jurors in the trial of former Caddo Parish Commissioner Michael Williams. Williams is facing multiple charges for allegedly stealing $2,000 from SWAG Nation. Prosecutors allege Williams withdrew the money from ATMs at casinos, gas stations and on out of town trips.

Prosecutors also allege that Williams admitted to the acts but defense attorney Elton Richey questions why there are no records of the confession.

Williams has pleaded not guilty.
