Joint Operation Nets Multiple Arrests and Seizures

A joint undercover operation has led to the arrests of five Bossier City residents and the seizure of cash, weapons, and synthetic narcotics.  

Agents from the Caddo-Shreveport and Bossier City-Parish Narcotics Units served eight search warrants -- four in Bossier City and four in Shreveport.  They placed special emphasis on a strip mall in the 4100 block of Hearne Avenue in Shreveport.

In all, their efforts resulted in five arrests and the seizure of nearly $350,000 in cash, $20,000 in gold, two firearms, and more than 270 grams of synthetic marijuana.  The five Bossier City men arrested and the charges against them are:

38-year-old Adam Ramadan - racketeering

36-year-old Khalil Shawakha - racketeering and in-state fugitive

27-year-old Mohammed Shawakha -- racketeering and in-state fugitive

36-year-old Shareef Shawakha -- racketeering and in-state fugitive

33-year-old Rami Shawakha -- racketeering and in-state fugitive

Agents are confident that at least one more arrest will be made in this ongoing investigation.
